Will I ever?

It’s been years now, I can’t forget
How we laugh for the tears
How we cry for the fears
It’s been years now, I still can recall
How we walk hand in hand
Special moments we had
All the memories we treasure together
Can no longer be recovered
I had you once but it seems I’m losing you now
It’s been so long but still I can’t move on
Still want to be your friend until now
It’s been so long, still questioning how
Will I ever find the words to turn back?
And say GOODBYE just for now
We had the best story of friendship
A wonderful story, now on its way of ending
I don’t want to say GOODBYE…
My heart is stopping me
My mind is dictating me
Who will I follow here?
For all the things we fight
And all the tears we cried
Bring back all the pain of friendship inside
I just want to be myself
Without you in my life ahead
I want to be far away
And close the door of sadness and fear
You’re still a special friend, I’m still your friend
No one could ever take your place 
I only need time to heal the wound and pain
Of losing my best friend without noticing that it happened.
