I wrote this for the mothers in my church, one mother's day

A mother is someone special
Perfect in every way
She's always there when you need her
And she's never ashamed to pray

A mother is someone strong
Fearless of all pain
For when it comes to her children
She always calls in Jesus' name

A mother is someone who cares
Fighting for what is right
Never once giving up hope
She's always a shinning light

A mother is someone you can lean on
When all else fails
Because with God on her side
She will prevail

A mother is someone who's humble
A delicate woman of grace
She lives her life to the fullest
And gives God all the praise

A mother is someone to be honored
On this perfect heartfelt day
Because if it wasn't for your mother
Then where would you be anyway

But don't just stop there
There's someone else to thank too
If it hadn't been for God making her
Then there wouldn't be a you
