Heartbreak

I wrote this a few weeks ago and i thought some people may actually relate.

Heartbreak…
It’s something that can be so sneaky and quiet like a slithering snake
Sneaking up on you
Sometimes you never had a clue
Other times you knew the worst was on it’s way
You just never knew which day
Hoping what you had been hearing were all just lies
Yet when it finally happened it came to no surprise
Pretty soon your stomach flooded in with despair and pain
Your feelings were becoming all too hard to contain
All of the sudden you’ve changed as you’re not the same
Some people thought how you were acting was childish, other’s knew just who to blame
You are way too quiet and now way too distant
How you feel and act has become far too consistent
Heartbreak is a tricky thing
There’s going to be a lot of pain but other than that you don’t know what else it will bring
Be resilient but take all the time you need
Because in the end I think it’s in life in which you will succeed
