A flash story
“John, wake up.”
Huh?
I lay on my usual side for sleeping.
I’d worked last night; slept for only two hours.

The nurse’s face hovered over me.
“You OK?”
What's she doing in my room?

Wait!

I’d gone with my wife for minor surgery.
Doctor had removed a large chunk from her leg.

I’d fainted.
