This piece is simply put a lament for lost opportunities in life

Never wait forever

I waited for the knock
I t never sounded in my ears
I tightly shut all doors

I waited for the sign
It never flashed in the skies
I clouded my sights

I waited for the push
It never touched me light
I sank unto my knees

I waited forever and ever
It never happened in my life
I died waiting for “never
