Do You Ever Imagine?

A short poem filled with longing and hope.

Do you ever imagine?
Do you ever dream?
Do you ever wonder what could be?

A simple beginning, a starting anew,
To slowly open yourself to the idea of two.
An easy friendship, but one with a pull.
That maybe one day you could once again feel full.

I dream this dream, I still dream that I'll find love.
I look to the stars and the sky above.

I still hope that one day I'll find you,
That somehow I'll see the sign.
And there you'll be, patiently waiting...

...Waiting just for me.
