How great is the lord for his city:
He alone is a million, and the other people of small amount.

How great is the lord for his city:
He restrains the waters at flood time.

How great is the lord for his city:
He lets a man sleep for one day.

How great is the lord for his city:
He protects us from our enemies.

How great is the lord for his city:
He feeds and clothes us and shelters us.

How great is the lord for his city:
He warms us in winter and cools us in summer.

How great is the lord for his city:
He resembles a lion when enemies trespass his city.+
