I Carry Your Secrets

A poem about being burdened by someones secrets, and not knowing what to do.

I need someone
Someone to tell me its real
Someone to say
I feel the way you feel

I carry your secrets
In a box in my heart
I carry them here
Here in the dark

I'm burdened by your cries
And when I scream
You leave me here to die
Leave me in my dreams

You don't understand me
And you don't want to
Cant you see?
You have no clue.

I want to shout
I want my tears to fall
I want to let it all out,
Scream and bawl

But now my thoughts are dead
Emotion is hiding far in a corner
With all the words Ive ever said,
Never to be seen again

Its no wonder I'm all alone
Its no wonder I have to survive here
On my own

You don't listen when I talk
If anything, you shrug and walk
Away

This is why I cry at night
When you cant hear me
Out of sight
