A poem about love that was based off of a single look, which always ends in tragedy.

Those eyes of blue,
I thought they were so true,
All they brought me was pain,
I thought I would go insane,
The promises you made,
They sunk like a blade,
Into my heart,
I thought we would never be apart,
But now I know,
You had to go,
Those wonderful eyes of blue,
It turned out they weren't so true.
