First experience at a broken relationship.....

My Soul’s mate, my friend

I don’t know why this sudden urge of writing,
Seems like I’ve finally got enlightened

Why do things happen the way they do?
Now I have the answer to it too,
I shan’t explain it to you now,
You’ll figure it out somehow

Why everything appears so grey,
Even on this bright and sunny day

It’s so deep inside me, yet so near,
I can’t help but shed a tear

I guess we just connected,
Like old souls’ re-enactment

I know we’re now apart,
But with ‘our times’ I shall never part

The smiles and spots that we shared,
For this, we were wholly unprepared

Only now do I realize,
The full power of mind’s paradise,
That despite of all the bitterness,
I recall only the happiness
