Falling from the sky

Rain falling from the sky gives one girl a big surprise.

She loved the feel of the rain on her skin.

It was light and gentle, falling from the sky.

She closed her eyes and leaned back in her lawn chair, letting the rain soak her clothes.

Her skin felt warm where the rain fell. Wait, warm rain?

"Ouch!" She looked and saw holed smoldering in her clothes. Her skin was bright red.

Her skin was burning and she looked up at the sky.

She started crying as her face burned.

Drip. Splash!

The last thing she saw was her brother Daniel sitting on the porch above her, laughing, and holding an empty jar in his hands.
