Ive loved and lost a hundred times.. i live to love again

It's been a long time coming
but i can see it in yours eyes
gonna greet the sunrise with a swhisper
spread your wings and take to flight.

i know you've always felt a sadness
you built your dreams where dragons run
but these two worlds will never bleed together softly
still you point your way right towards the sun

so sleep now my gentle warrior
the morning brings my hearts dimise
I'll wake, the smell of you still on me
and rise to watch you conquere sky

I wont stand and weep in the shadows
i wont turn and hide my eyes
I'd rather watch you go in silence
And return each day to scan the skies.
