Prompt using Ed Gein as grisly inspiration! |
| Reupholstering furniture is tough with rare fabrics. I always run short, and finding more that is the same beautiful ivory and peach is impossible. I will have to make do with scraps from my last project. Humming, I flip the chair over. I pull and tug and stretch, making sure no wrinkles mar the finish of the chair. At last, I stand back, admiring the work. "What do you think, Claire? Will it do?" A shrunken head, suspended from the ceiling by a piece of twine, bobs in the breeze. Claire approves! I tug her hair. It's strong, and should make a beautiful braided trim for the new upholstery. It is, after all, quite lovely skin. |
