All you do is look, but never see.
You only see the outside,
You never dare to look deeper inside.
Because I know if you did,
You’d see that all my emotions are hid
By a smile that looks so bright
But is just reflected by false light.

You would find an even deeper hole.
One craving to be filled by you,
But that’s just the one thing you’ll never do
Until you finally stop, look and see
Deeper than just the outside of me.

You never see that I’m ready to fall.
You can only see the girl
Who seems to have control of her world.
You don’t see me at night,
Tears on my cheeks as I turn out the light.
I just wish you’d care enough
To see that inside of me’s not really that tough.
