I fear my beloved,
I fear to drown in your eyes,
I fear to stumble into your arms,
I fear I will grieve when you say good bye,
Because every breath you take,
I feel as well as hear,
And because I worry when you leave,
Not for me only for you my dear,
I fear to be caught in the act of loving you,
I fear to take your affection for something more,
I fear I might have bestowed my heart to you,
I fear you might give it back sore,
Because oh, handsome yet blind man,
You haven’t a clue,
None other has stolen my heart,
But you,
I fear my sweet,
I fear to drown in your voice,
I fear to fall in love with you,
I fear I have no other choice…
