This poem was inspired by a quilted wallhanging |
| You do not follow any thoroughfare In erratic flight so debonair You taste sweet blossoms fair In a garden full of sunshine With grace and beauty you outshine Capricious as a columbine Wings glitter and shine A living treasure in the garden Life is short but glorious For love you search continuous Your fancy is promiscuous You must make the most of life You found a love in time A moment of ecstacy is divine The climax to your lifeline Is continued by your offspring |
