Mr. Spot

This poem is written for the 'read-to-me' age group, and from a child's prospective.

Mr. Spot


Once I saw a ladybug,
I called it Mr. Spot.

I watched him going round and round,
inside the flowerpot.

Sometimes he flew around the house,
but usually he walked.

I asked him lots of questions,
but he never, ever talked.

One day he landed on my nose,
and we went out to play.

I think he heard his mommy call,
because he flew away.
