Eyes

This is what i see in the mirror everyday

I look into his eyes
And can see all the deceit and lies.
I can always lock him into a stare
Always holding a never-ending glare
His eyes show nothing
But hold the secret to everything
From all the lies that he’s told
To all the secrets he holds
With all the lives he’s dismantled
It’s more then he can handle
I look into these eyes everyday
I know him in every which way
The eyes that I see
Are the eyes of me
This is my reflection
The very cause of my own destruction
I am my own worst enemy.
