I missed your first steps, your first words,
i'm proud of you is something you seldom heard..
I missed your first pitch, your first run, I wasnt there to say you go girl youre number 1...
All those special days in your life that i missed
cause, i was getting high somewhere off in the midst..
I dont know what tomorrow will bring, so promises i will not make
but one day at a time i will make it up to you no matter how long it takes..
