You gave me peace within my heart
Like I cannot explain
You gave me joy within my soul
That I cannot contain
You showed me how to live and die
By true divinity
I stand in awe of how Your love
Has captivated me.

Now I ask that you create me
Just as you have planned
I’ll let go and store my dreams
Safely in your hands
Give me knowledge, understanding
That is defined by only you
Give me a heart filled with hunger
For what is good and true.

Paint a picture of who
You want me to be
So when I look in the mirror
Your love I see
And don’t let me be content
Until the day
That I look at my reflection
And see Your face
