I'm an Ocean

Time is always in motion
Following a trial to the vast ocean
At times the tide comes too rapidly
And I don't get to enjoy, the things next to me

My mind is like the open sea
Memories good or bad never leave me
Wild, continuous and untamed
I'm an enigma, my behavior has no name

I would wash your name from the sand
But my waves never reach the location
I'm unpredictable, who'll ever understand?
The things I do, my motivation

I wish the tides would take me away
I don't wish to be here, I want to runaway
But the waves throw me back
To where I began
I'm tempted to look back
Because it was with you, I realized who I am
