So many things I didn't try!

My World

As I survey my world
and wonder at my life
I truly thought that I
was meant to be a wife.

I had no wish for fame
I left that up to you.
I always felt fulfilled
in what I had to do.

But now, as time moves on
I begin to realise
how many things I missed
by keeping closed my eyes.

The things I did not try.
What talent might have been
locked up inside my mind
not able to be seen.

So don't procrastinate.
Don't lock things out of sight.
Do your very best to bring
your gifts into the light.
