just some observations of autumn with a fantasy twist. |
| Autumns glory Dappled sunlight shines through braches, The west wind of Zephyrus blows. Concrete rivulets circle grassy islands As nature prepares to doze. Music and laughter drift on the air Weaving a spell of mirth, And like silhouettes of Vulcan’s blaze; Autumn stars fall to the earth. Pan dances through the trees Adding his tune to the air. Velvet leaves glide to the land, No hope, no life, no care. In autumns mottled rainbow; Of russet, amber and umber. The Horae turn the seasons And the land drifts into slumber. Autumn glory of the present Of the future and the past. The natural magic of the earth The colours fading fast. |
