This poem is about unfaithfulness.

You said not a word
just stared the whole time
as I told of the secrets
I kept on the side
It hurt to see the tears
roll so slowly down your face
it hurt to know this pain
couldn't be erased
I told you of another
and how we came to be
it started off so innocent
but became infidelity
And it was the hardest thing
that I ever had to do
but I couldn't go on
I had to leave you
You said not a word
just stared the whole time
as I walked out the door
and left you behind
And I'm still so in love with you
but we just can't be
I found something even more
the perfect one for me
