Why wasn't it good enough?

As I put the parts together you broke
Some are missing
You gave me nothing in return
Why did I stay with you?

You gave me joy
But you made me hurt
The words you'd say
I thought they were normal
Why did you take advantage of me?

I'm picking up my life
Trying to forget you but wishing you well
I'll put mine together
The question is
Will you put yours together?

I was addicted to you
I'm in rehab getting over my addiction
Will you get over yours
