The Candle

A candle that symbolises the destroy of love

I lit it when i saw you
The brightness of the flame
Reminded me of your smile
And your glistening eyes

The burning furoscity warmed the room
Even if you wasn't there
It made me feel so warm
To have you in my life

No wind could blow it out
However strong it was
My life wasn't melting away
When you were there

As days, weeks, months went by
Without any contact
Winds turned to storms
The candle began to melt

I'm ending this pain and misery
I really did love you
The candle which sat on my window
Out it went, with one blow!
