Ravens and Doves

I'm a raven, not a dove.

I'm tired of trying
I've given up on love
I have no more feelings
I'm not pure like the doves

I am a dark raven
My feathers black as night
This is my safe haven
I'm hiding from the light

I feel lost when I'm here
I feel empty inside
And though I feel no fear
I feel the need to hide
