another poem i wrote

Before I go I must tell you
one thing so important
Before I go I have to tell you
the truth that you must know

I do not have much time left
as I must go real soon
Before I go I need to
let you know right now

I cannot wait another second
I cannot leave you behind
I cannot hold onto my emotions
or the tears I try to hide

There’s just something about you
that is just too hard to hide
I love you more than you know
that’s what I have to say
