For Lack of Better Words

A poem to thank the people in my life for giving me the freedom to find my way.

it's the greatest feeling
I'm overjoyed
purpose has revealed itself
it has filled the void

the struggle is over
the battle has ceased
the skies are open
my restlessness eased

I wanna thank you all
for playing a part in my life
for fuelling me
for allowing me to dive

I've spun in circles
tornadoed around
I've jumped some hurdles
barely touching the ground

now the sun has come out
and shown me the way
my search is over
I'm no longer life's pray

I've started my conclusion
I know the end is near
every which way you look at it
my future is unclear

I've found what I've been looking for
and really want you to know
I'm forever grateful
for your role in my show
