A Pirate in the Making by Thushari Wasana Nanayakkara 


“To be a tavern boy when I can become a pirate?  Hah!”

I sneaked abroad and they didn’t find me for days!  Months of labouring and scorching is seasoning me for my goal.

I haven’t got my parrot or the eye patch yet.  But someday I am going to be the captain of this ship.
