Heavenly Father pray for us
For we do not always see you as love
As we declare war in your name
As we beat and kill those who do not share our opinions

Heavenly Father forgive us
For we will often forget you
As we pay homage to high definition televisions
As we turn to wine and whiskey for quick fixes

Heavely Father pity us
For we do not understand your message
As we persucute other religions
As we pass judgment based on sexual preference

Heavenly Father speak to us
For we do not listen
As we fallow lies and deceit created by misguided leaders
As we worship fallen celebrities

Yes pray for me
Yes forgive me
Yes pity me
Yes speak to me

For I am undeserving
But I am in need of you now
