Lost


Like stumbling footsteps
Lacking true direction, he
Lists left when others go right
Life’s shadowed whisper has taken his thoughts as he
Lets go of days weeks months years
Lacking the strength to hold tight enough and
Like sand, his memories are broken on the tide
