She gaps the cavity
That holds my unbeating heart,
Subtly tapping her left index and thumb
And suddenly—
Jumpstart!

She drifts away across the coastal Cliffside,
A spirit at twilight,
And I follow,
Tethered by a bond both ethereal
And taut.
