Strange Vision

A surprise when waking up in a hospital

After the accident I was taken by ambulance to a hospital. I woke up with a splitting headache and bandages on my eyes.

I was in total darkness. There was not a small glimmer of light.

Then one day I saw the room illuminated. The light was bright.

A doctor looked at me. He spoke.

"Mr. Harris, you are blind. The accident ruined the visual area of your brain."

"Then why do I see?" I asked.

The doctor turned toward me. I saw a man laying in bed. It was me.
