A conversation between a person and a supposed ghost (?)
“You are supposed to be dead.”
“Am I?”
“I saw you die.”
“Careful. That could be misconstrued as murder.”
“What are you talking about? You couldn’t have been murdered if you are still alive.”
“Am I alive?”
“I can see you.”
“Well then. That means I am alive, doesn’t it?”
“Does it?”
“By whose standards?”
“I thought that you knew I was alive?”
“I did until you started questioning me.”
“Are you so easily swayed in your beliefs that whatever I say can change your mind?”
“Not what you say.”
“And why ever not?”
“Because you are dead.”
“Am I?”
“I saw you get hit by a semi-truck.”
“People have survived worse things.”
“You have no scratch, no scars.”
“I have an excellent plastic surgeon.”
“Even if you did, you died four days ago.”
“If I died, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.”
“I don’t trust you.”
“Do you believe in ghosts?”
