finding new avenues of expression
she smiles like a child with a gift
opening all of its pages
delighting in what's found within.

dipping her pen in the inkwell
closing her eyes to the world
exposing her own flights of fancy
releasing the stories within.
~
a welcome to those who would find her
a smile for which new friends stop by
delivering odd bits of rhythym
singing her song from within.
