You told me you loved me.
I never questioned why.
Then you left me.
Without even a good bye.

I wish you could only see,
How much I really loved you.
But then you left me,
Left me without a clue.

Now I have no idea what to do.
I don't know where to go.
My life is so empty without you.
Was this the way it was supposed to be? Maybe so.

I guess we will never know,
What could have happened between us.
Life moves on though.
It's pointless to fuss.

Just when I thought my life was in for doom,
You came back.
You lifted the gloom.
Once again my life is back on track!

You were all it took for my heart to heal.
As though it may seem.
Just when I thought it was real,
I realize it was just a dream.

Now I am sitting here,
Wishing it was true.
I go to the fridge, and take a beer.
Trying anything to get my mind off of you.

I look in the mirror,
"You're not good enough."
Is all that I can hear.
This life is tough.

The pain I feel kills,
I can no longer put up a fight.
Where are the sleeping pills?
This will end tonight...
