This is a story about a girl named Staci she is nice and then turns into a freak. |
| This went unnoticed for several years. I was a very nice, hard-working, and smart girl. I was always willing to help someone outside of my will, even if they didnât ask for help. But what people didnât know was that I was abused by my parents. I was physically abused by my mother and sexually abused by my step-father. When the family went out together, we pretended that we were a happy family. But when we got back home, we took off the masks and it went back to the regular abuse. At school, when people asked me why I had so many bruises, I made up an excuse saying, âOh, you know, Iâm so clumsy.â But my friends would say, â When youâre around us, youâre not clumsy.â âWell, at my house, thereâs a lot of things to trip over.â âWell, maybe if you clean up, it could be better.â My friends knew I was lying though, so they were still suspicious. So, I even believed this myself. I started to clean up. âStaci, did you take our suggestions? We were asking because your bruises got even worse.â âYeah, I took your advice guys. But the bruises just didnât get any better.â âYeah, they got a whole lot worse.â â Well, over time they will most likely heal.â âYeah, sure. Staci, you arenât fooling anybody. We know something is wrong. We also know that you arenât clumsy at all. So dish because we are going to keep on asking until you tell us. Something is happening and it doesnât have to do with there being a lot of stuff to trip over in the house, either. Staci, we are trying to have your best interest at heart. We donât want this to keep happening to you. What is up?â âLook, I want to tell you guys but it is very hard to explain.â âWe are listening. We have a whole hour and a half to listen.â âOkay, look I canât tell you and I canât tell you why I canât tell you. So, just stay out of my business!â âWhatâs up with her? She never acts like that. She always tells us everything! Somethingâs happening to Staci that could kill her and we are going to find out!â When I got my last class, there was a voice message on my cell phone. I wondered who it was from but I couldnât imagine. Then, I dialed the voice machine and the message was from my friends. âStace, we have your best interest at heart. You need to tell us whatâs happening with you.â I turned it off because I knew they were telling the truth. I couldnât believe someone actually cared for me. The next message was from my mom. âStacy, I lost my job. Now, Iâm really going to whip you like you stole something.â The truth was, my mom wanted to be home when I got there so I could get a welcome home beating. I was so afraid that I stayed at school as long as I could. But when I had to leave, I walked really slow. I didnât want to get a bad beating but I knew if I came home any later, my beating would have been worse if I had gotten home on time. So I hurried home. All the lights were off in my building, so I knew something was up. I turned the lock slowly and the lights turned on in the house. My step-father jumped from behind the couch and was trying to take my clothes off. I tried to resist but I knew it was worthless, so I let him take off the rest of my clothes. I was still scared, though. My stepfather stuck it in me slowly but then very hard. It hurt so much that I screamed even though he told me by no means to ever scream. He smacked me so hard that I almost cried. I was deeply violated and I could never get over that. Then, one day, I called my aunt Patrice because I was getting tired of the abuse. âHey aunt Patrice, um I have to tell you something.â âHey Stace! Whatâs up?â âMy-my-myâ âStace, whatâs wrong?â My aunt said this with fear in her voice. âMy parents are abusing me. I was scared to tell anyone because I know my parents would find out and the abuse would be worse.â âStace, you should have been told me this. I care about you Stace and I want the best for you. Iâm coming over right away!â âAunt Patrice, I know I should have told someone but I was way too afraid! But uh,see you when you get here.â âOkay, youâre going to live with me from now on ,okay?â âUm, okay. Love you aunt Patrice.â âOkay, Stace!â â Who was that, Ms. Stacy?â âIt was aunt Patrice.â âWhat were you guys talking about?â âOh, she just asked me about school.â âOh, so thatâs why you told her that George and I were abusing you? How dare you tell Patrice about what happens in our house!â âMom, I-â Someone is knocking on the door, I thought it was my aunt Patrice. âWho is that at the door? Stacy get that please, but look through the hole first.â I go open the door without looking through the hole to be smart. Itâs my aunt Patrice. âStacy, I thought I told you to look through the hole! It could have been a gang member trying to kill us! Stace,I care about your safety.â âBut it wasnât. It was aunt Patrice! And besides,no you don't care about my safety.â âNik, what do you care! You are abusing her! What difference does it make? Itâs better to get abused by somebody you donât know than by someone you do know!â âHey Aunt Patrice! I love your new hairstyle!â âHey Niece! Thanks, I try to look nice.â âHey Sis! You are looking great!â âDonât talk with that sweet talk to me because you are abusing my favorite niece! You know that you are wrong!â Stacyâs mother wouldnât let Stacy go. Stacy started getting crazy.
