Short free-verse piece.

"I want the world!" she sobbed,
So he gave her what she wished;
The opposite of a kiss -
A slap, a blow, a bite.
Fiercer then gentle,
Gentler than tears:
Let her down easy, she thinks.
Flying on the opposite of a kiss,
She finds a paradoxical paradise:
Here,
There,
Feral and untamed.
Wild, he brings love back.
Subdued, she glances over.
The opposite of a kiss has become
the absence of love.
