I can finally say this and mean this, and have peace.

You don’t understand,
and it doesn’t change anything.
You don’t know or believe,
and it doesn’t change anything.
I wish you had some empathy,
but only for your own benefit.
What you now lack
does not change what I have.
It’s just you.
Your own thoughts and capacities.
I’m different.
I was there.
I’ve got all the information I need.
You’ll never have it all,
with your own life in the way.
It’s okay.
I don’t need you to understand.
I understand, and that’s enough.
