Heavy rain drops fall
Not from the sky
But simply from my eyes
tonight

I sit here feeling alone and abandoned in my bed
With all these thoughts rushing through my head
What went wrong? WHY?

They told me everything would be fine
But now I can see I've been blind

Not from these tears 
but from the lies

You told me i could go home
and then you turned your back
and all i am is alone.

How can I stand by
While I try to ignore this painful rage
that I burden within a cage
SCREAMING desperately to be released

I realize now nothing can be done
My worst fears have won
Failure and disappointment are my only friends
To be with me until the end

The down pour resumes
again, not from the sky
but simply from my eyes
alone again
tonight.
