One of the first few poems that I've written that truly had an impact on me.

I didn’t want this to happen,
I never wanted to turn you away.

I didn’t want to see you cry,
I never meant to scare you.

I didn’t want to see you suffer,
I never meant to punish you.

I didn’t want to see you in pain,
I never meant to beat you.

I didn’t want to believe it,
I never meant to rape you.

I just wanted your love,
I never had your love.

I never had what I wanted, and that’s what I received.

It’s alright, I know you hate me.

I hate me, too.
