the past and the future

whats in the past
has now become the future
i looked in the mirror
and found out that that i dont need you
now that i live in the moment
i found someone new
someone that you
will never be
my life has now become the past
and im looking toward the future
to my one and only goal
to my one and only role
i've outgrown who i was
and its now who i am
whats in the past
is finally my past
and not anymore of my furture
someone one told me that you have to
look toward the future to know
who you really are
and who you are going to be
and now i finally see ho i am
really meant to be in life
in my past
and not in my future anymore
