Torment

A son has disappeared

Torment
Like a man who has lost his mother, his brother, his son.
He whimpers and he sobs-in his dreams -for to do so in waking life
would be a sign of weakness to him
So his dreams are haunted with the sadness of others
while the mother is buried
the brother is exiled
And the son won’t return his calls
