Rainbows for Sunrise

I saw a rainbow at sunrise. So I wrote about it.

I don't believe
you
would think it's important,
but I
think someone's looking after
me.
Maybe in death, he'll
cherish
the fact that my head
isn't as strong
as my
heart.
I'm only as strong as
I pretend to be.
But, for once,
I will fight
for what I want.
You're like a rainbow
for sunrise:
once in a long while
I'll find you
pristine,
and even this is
fleeting,
so I'm going to do
my best
to paint this
picture of you
so I never forget
exactly
how much
I love you.
