Mom

This is a poem about how the influence of one person has made an impact on my life.

“Mom” is a simple word that all of us can say,
But the meaning of it is deeper than any words,
Mother means loving, compassionate, and sweet,
The one who’s not replaced with any other human beings,
One whose heart seems to love all around,
The one who knows just how to solve the problem,
And can see the things the other men can’t see,
Mother’s bring hope, justice, and smiles,
They give hugs and always are there,
The person that they are is special in all ways,
The one who acts the part will be remembered all the way,
No matter how old we get we’ll still be there little child,
In our mother’s heart they are never retired,
Constantly checking in on the ones they love the most,
One day far, far away I hope I can repay you,
By giving you the care you so justly deserve.
