The Mystery

Ever seen anything like this?

Look at that house!
A light comes on
But it is as quiet as a mouse
The light goes off and there goes the phone

We watch and another light comes on again
It stayed on for about five
Then it went out and light came on in the den
Someone was alive

Then the attic lit up
And a dark shadow walked by
He was carrying in his hand a cup
What was going on and why?

Just then there was a loud bang
And a woman screamed at the same time
A bird yelled and another sang
I wondered why and questioned if this was a crime

The next morning it was gloomy and dark
Windows were dirty and you couldn't see in
You could see it from the park
The whole thing was abandoned even the den
