A New Beginning

A new beginning
A chance to start afresh
The feeling of hope filling up my mind
A vision of happiness making me smile
This is what I’ve been waiting for

Finally the clouds are clearing
Letting me see the light
Letting me breath
Letting me smile
Letting me imagine life without worry and despair
Finally it’s not a fantasy or a wild dream

My doubts cast aside
I’m finally starting to believe
I’m strong enough to survive
I have the courage to steam ahead
My mind is full of positive thoughts
I’m finally encouraging myself instead of doubting
I’m finally climbing instead of falling
