A Reason

This poem was inspired by a couple I encountered on the train.

Stay away for a reason
Angel in disguise
Lucid cries when you are invited in
Tempt me to hide
Another day passes by
Leaves me undecided
Fire is between us
Water as dangerous as the sun
Train departed a very long time ago
Heartbroken; all that was once is done
Next lifetime we will see what shall be
Reincarnation could make that impossible
You could be a creature in the sea
And I a patron on the beach
But for now its time for me to go....
