The day sweats in the leaves


The day sweats in the leaves
Your body is mine under trees

Sweet are the sounds in the air
And sweet is your breath in my hair

Pressed by your words of love
To say that this world is enough

Lay with our minds all undone
Becoming what we've longed to become

Soft moves the shade in between
Secrets, given and received.
